In 1989 a group of Beech 18 owners and enthusiasts called the Twin Beech Association was invited to participate in the annual convention of the Staggerwing Museum Foundation and Staggerwing Club at Tullahoma TN. This went so well that the it was decided, in 1994, to establish a new division of the Foundation known as the Twin Beech 18 Society. The Society established its own officers and the following purpose and mission:

- Preserve a Living Legend, the Twin Beech 18
- Promote safety in flying and maintaining the Model 18
- Conduct conventions and special aviation events
- Conduct seminars on maintenance, repair and restoration of the Model 18
- Encourage, assist, and conduct aircraft restorations
- Provide a library of books, manuals, technical data, publications, documents, and records of the Model 18 and related aircraft
- Recognition of aviation personalities and historical events
- Foster and promote aviation education
- Provide for a museum facility to house artifacts, aircraft, etc. and to serve as administrative offices

We invite you to join. Membership entitles you to free entrance to the museum, 4 newsletters per year, invitation to the annual convention as well as any Society sponsored events. The Twin Beech Bulletin keeps members informed and reports on Model 18 activities and events. There is also useful information on safety, insurance, maintenance, restorations, history, as well as a list of the Twin Beech 18 Society volunteers who are ready to assist you.
